Denim Group contributed the first-ever web application-based attack component this year to the
National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (NCCDC). The NCCDC, held April 16-18, exposed students to threats they will
encounter in corporate IT environments upon graduation. With the
addition of Denim Group's web application attacks, competitors were exposed to more sophisticated threats that exist when sensitive software
systems are exposed on the web.

Cyber Security Caucus Held in San Antonio
On April 16, Texas congressmen and military officials from Washington D.C. gathered in San Antonio for the city's first Cyber Security Caucus Summit. The event aimed to educate lawmakers on what San Antonio needs in terms of dollars and
legislation to build out its vision to become the cyber security capital of the United States.
Denim Group Principal John Dickson attended the event, representing a private software security company at the forefront of cyber security activity in San Antonio. He met with several leading officials, including the Obama administration's cyber security
czar Howard Schmidt (pictured).
