Denim Group Partner Sheridan Chambers was picked by the San Antonio Business Journal as one of the city's "40 Under 40." The recipients of this annual award are selected for their accomplishments as business and community leaders. John Dickson, also a Partner at Denim Group, was a recipient in 2000.
One of the more complex business decisions that IT managers are consistently faced with is whether or not they should undertake a certain project internally or reach outside their organization for assistance. Although at the surface level this may appear to be a fairly straightforward decision, most sophisticated IT managers understand the more complex factors that will affect the success of their project. They also know that implementing an in-house project versus outsourcing the project carries unique concerns.
John Dickson will be conducting a seminar at the Dallas Chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association's (ISACA) February meeting. He will be speaking about the relationship between software development and security. Keith Landrus has recently been hired by Denim Group, Ltd. as Director of Technology, delivering technical oversight of the company's software and service offerings. Keith's previous experiences "are incredible and we are honored to have him," says Denim Group partner, Sheridan Chambers. "Keith's knowledge and experience as a leader of people and also as a leader of technology make him invaluable at Denim Group. I could not be happier about adding him to the team" Prior to Denim Group, Keith held positions as Director of Product Development for 2 years at NextgenID, where he eventually became Partner, and as the Director of Technology for Java Global Services at Rare Medium, Inc. He has also held leadership positions at other tech companies such as Vivare, Inc. and Science Applications International. Keith is certified in System Engineering and Application Development for both Microsoft and Java Platforms. Landrus is a six year veteran of the US Air Force. He has lived in Helotes with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two children for the past eight years.
