Education Service Center, Region 20, Adopts Web-based Grading and Attendance Application
Project Case Study

Denim Group recently completed a web-based grade and attendance tracking application for Educational Service Center Region 20, the educational service agency that provides over 700 school districts, private schools and charter schools with low cost, high value technology solutions.

Based on input from a user panel comprised of stakeholders across Texas, Denim Group developed an application that helps school districts save time and money with central installation and licensing while providing a more convenient web-based system for users.

New Denim Group Team Members

Greg Genung, Manager of Business Development for Austin and Dallas
Prior to joining Denim Group, Greg worked with Karta Technologies, Inc. on an entrepreneurial venture in Karta’s engineering division to deploy, market, and grow FleetRADAR, Karta’s real-time GPS fleet tracking system. Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity University in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Business and a minor in Economics. He is a member of the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Austin Greater Chamber of Commerce, ISSA Austin and ISACA Austin.

Kristi Evenson, Project Coordinator
Kristi brings seven years of experience to the Denim Group team as a liason between Denim Group clients and developers. Prior to Denim Group, Kristi worked as a Consulting Services Coordinator for Sirius Computer Solutions and a Project Manager Assistant for IT Corporation. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Iowa State University and a Master's Degree from the University of Phoenix.

James Pelletier, Consultant
James joins Denim Group as a consultant and developer of .NET applications. Prior to Denim Group, James spent three years migrating existing legacy applications to the .NET framework and web applications for TimeClock Plus and as a contractor for the U.S. Navy. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics from Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Joshua Shelton, Consultant
Joshua is a consultant and software developer specializing in .NET and Java applications. Originally from Argentina, he completed an internship in the Sahara Desert where he worked to encourage businesses in Africa to interact with the Western part of the world using technology. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Baylor University and is a member of several organizations including Mu Phi Epsilon (UPE) and Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) where he served as a senior officer.

Francisco Canseco, Consultant
Francisco has joined the Denim Group team as a developer and consultant for .NET applications. He has a B.B.A. in Information Systems from UTSA and is a member of the Alamo Pachyderm Club.
