Director of Operations
As Director of Operation at Denim Group, Aaron Copeland brings over a decade of experience managing and leading teams. He manages the company’s project management contracting and technical resourcing, successfully overseeing secure development and application security projects to ensure that client projects are on time and within budget. Prior to joining Denim Group, Aaron served as a surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy.
Manager of Application Security
Cap Diebel is a seasoned application security expert, specializing in application architecture, development, security reviews and security testing engagements. In his role as Manager of Application Security, Cap is involved in Denim Group’s secure development and software security assurance projects. He leads the company’s application security engagement team and also helps administer application security training for clients. He uses his extensive technology consulting experience as the company’s technical leader for application security activities and lead mentor for application security staff.
Manager of Software Engineering
Greg Leeds has more than 16 years of experience in software and application development and leads the entire ThreadFix development team. As the Manager of Software Engineering, Greg is involved in all aspects of technical product vision and ensures the software will meet customer needs. He oversees research efforts for ThreadFix enhancements and is responsible for consistency in standards across development cycles. Managing the development implementation cycle, Greg is the point person ensuring timely releases, useful updates and positive user experiences.

Kyle Pippin has over 15 years of experience in successfully building and delivering enterprise level software products and projects to customers in need of system application and web application solutions to their business problems. As Product Manager of ThreadFix, Kyle is involved in all aspects of product planning, development, and presentation. He is responsible for ensuring ThreadFix meets or exceeds customer needs and expectations by working directly with clients, Project Management, and technical leads to facilitate the greatest possible value to customers.
Manager of Information Security
Matt Snider brings more than 13 years of direct experience in information security to Denim Group, including six years leading IT audits and compliance reviews for a variety of Federal, State, Healthcare and commercial clients. Matt has also performed extensive work as a hands-on technical security expert for a variety of security projects. In his role as Manager of Information Security, Matt works with clients to understand their security requirements and to design pragmatic solutions. He also leads Denim Group’s information security consulting team on a day-to-day basis, providing guidance on tools, techniques and procedures used to evaluate IT and business risk for Denim Group’s clients. Matt leverages his diverse background in information security to provide Denim Group consulting engagements with the insight required to deliver security value to our clients.
Manager of PMO
Shelly Haverlah has more than 16 years in technical project management with experience in software and hardware end-to-end lifecycle management for corporate clients in a global endpoint environment. In her role as Manager of PMO, Shelly is responsible for the definition and implementation of project management standards and processes. She leads projects and serves as the primary decision-maker for Project Management services and tools. Shelly also provides oversight and guidance for Project Managers and uses her extensive experience in management to oversee the Project Management staff and ensure all of the projects are successful for clients.
