Inc. magazine today ranked Denim Group NO. 4157 on its sixth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy – America’s independent entrepreneurs. Unified Payments tops this years list. Denim Group joins Yelp, yogurt maker Chobani,, KIND and famed hatmaker Tilly’s, among other prominent brands featured on this year’s list.

“We appreciate being recognized for five years running as one of America’s fastest growing private companies by Inc. Magazine,” said John Dickson, Denim Group Principal. “Secure software is becoming an increasingly critical priority for today’s organizations, especially as each of us grows more dependent upon these applications to run our daily lives. We’re pleased to be in the position to help strengthen the security of this foundational layer in today’s evolving world.”

Denim Group provides secure application development services that are designed to ensure the needed layers of security and access control are built into web, cloud and mobile applications for its clients. Denim Group also secures the applications its clients have already built. With the mantra “build a world where software is trusted,” Denim Group’s work has had an industry-wide impact that has increased consumer and corporate confidence in critical software.

In addition to these services, Denim Group also provides a wide range of e-Learning products to enable software engineers to further understand how to build security into these applications, and how to maintain that security through multiple upgrades of a product. Denim Group will also be releasing an open source vulnerability management product called ThreadFix, in September of 2012 to help today’s companies more easily manage the process of securing its applications during the application development lifecycle. Denim Group’s Mission is to enable organizations to solve secure software concerns in a proactive manner to reap the benefits of creating new and innovative applications without exposing the company’s assets to undue risk.
