Master Pages are another wonderful improvement in ASP.NET 2.0. Master Pages are programatic style templates that enable you to layout a page once and then reference it from other pages. Those pages contain only the content that changes or is unique to that page. This is great for me — I don’t end up with the same HTML code littered about on various pages. Furthermore, changes to an individual navigation item can be made in a single place and then be inherited across all the other pages. Very cool.
We have used Master Pages on the new version of our web site.
