The Importance of Being Earnest (in partnerships)

(my business partner) had a great article in the North Chamber Technology Council newsletter.  I’m kind of biased, but he makes a great point about business focus.

We find that a lot of our competitors are all things technology to all companies – hardware, software, networking, application development and security.  There is an inherent fallacy in the idea that a professional services business needs to take a swing at every pitch that its customers throw at it.   A relationship with a customer is not a competitive advantage.  Focus and excellence are competitive advantages.
