Webinar: How iOS and Android Handle Security

Today I delivered a webinar on mobile application security and, specifically, on how the iOS and Android platforms handle security. Slides and audio are online here:

The goal of the webinar was twofold:

  • Educate developers on the security characteristics and capabilities of their chosen development platform so that they can design and build more secure applications.
  • Educate security professionals about the risks associated with their organization’s mobile applications.

The webinar went a little long because we had a great Q&A session at the end. Please feel free to post any additional questions in the comments and we’ll get them responded to. Be sure to download the Secure Mobile Application Development Reference whitepaper that provides additional details about iOS and Android security.

The whitepaper is not current with the information in the deck presented during the webinar. :-)

Sorry for the delay approving your comment. We _did_ update the whitepaper just after we received it, though.

Current whitepaper online should be in-line with the presentation from the webinar.
